Candle Safety

Because your safety matters to us, please take a moment to read the candle care tips below.

Safety icon

Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Protect little ones and furry companions by placing candles in secure, elevated areas.

Safety icon

Never leave a lit candle unattended — extinguish it before leaving the room, even for a short time.

Safety icon

Keep candles away from anything flammable — including curtains, bedding, furniture, and similar materials.

Safety icon

Trim the wick to 5 mm before each burn and ensure the surface is free of dust or debris.

Safety icon

During the first burn, allow the candle to melt evenly across the surface — ideally for at least 3 hours. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.

Safety icon

Leave a minimum of 10 cm between lit candles to prevent overheating.

Safety icon

We recommend stop burning the candle when 5 mm of wax remains. Do not attempt to relight it beyond this point. Relighting may pose a risk.

Safety icon

Never fall asleep with a candle burning. Always extinguish it before resting.

Safety icon

Avoid blowing out the flame — use a snuffer instead. After extinguishing, check that the wick remains upright and centred before the wax sets.

Safety icon

Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never move them while burning. Wait until the wax has cooled and solidified.
